NON-LINEARITY
The concept which mystifies everyone and especially leaders is
“Non-Linear Growth.”
I built this simple chart (below) to remind me of how non-linear
(NL) growth spurs the development of our core attributes — each
constituent of our core is developing us, at a far faster rate than
our hardwired core can change — but almost everything else does NL.
The conundrum with development is that NL produces counter-intuitive
noise and you must get a hold of this in an environment with VUCA*
problems.
*VUCA=Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous.
In the next daily, I’ll show you why personal development for
leaders is worth investing your 28.8 minutes a day!
