"A truer image of the world, I
think, is obtained by picturing things as entering into the
stream of time from an eternal world outside, than from a view
which regards time as the devouring tyrant of all that is." -
Bertrand Russell
My most favorable ideas around
streaming, has to do with upstreaming, navigating back up the
stream and examining the source, and then downstreaming, which
allows one to move through scenarios of what will be.
While a TPOV, it's a powerful set
of tools, that I wanted to enter into the FLOW Toolkit
Lottery. There are so many tools, and you will have to find
and use those which work well for you.
Upstreaming:
Identifying the components of what
has emerged in cases where the underlying cause and effects
maybe masked, delayed or unknown.
Downstreaming:
Identifying those factors which
play an important part in what emerges down the road.
EES plays a role here, as there are
clues in both directions, in fact all directions and if you
understand Arrays, you will realize that directionality
is important, but not essential, the key is to understand
network effects and where the power nodes are, from
the connections we can make to the systems we are living in,
around and among.
