Things are the way they are because
of the structural dynamics that scaffold transaction and
transformation now.
I wanted to draw attention since
scaffolding in general is a new term to development, and there
is an idea perhaps that things are not scaffolded now. They
are.
The scaffolding in place was/is
constructed on the structural dynamics of an epoch as big as
holocene!

What is emerging is an new epoch,
and don't take this lightly because the paradigmatic shift
that I/others are mentioning is the real deal. And it's
gaining favor as:
The Anthropocene is a
recent and informal geologic
chronological term that serves to mark the evidence and
extent of human activities that have had a significant global
impact on the
Earth's
ecosystems. The term was coined by ecologist
Eugene F. Stoermer but has been widely popularized by the
Nobel Prize-winning
atmospheric chemist
Paul Crutzen, who regards the influence of human behavior
on the Earth's atmosphere in recent centuries as so
significant as to constitute a new
geological era for its
lithosphere.
In 2008 a proposal was presented to the Stratigraphy
Commission of the
Geological Society of London to make the Anthropocene a
formal unit of geological time.[1]
A large majority of that Stratigraphy Commission decided the
proposal had merit and should therefore be examined further.
Steps are being taken by independent working groups of
scientists from various geological societies to determine if
the Anthropocene will be formally accepted into the
Geological Time Scale.[2]

More than a decade ago, I made
various critiques of the "shift in consciousness" people,
particularly Wilber, who indicated that people doing
meditation could rise multiple levels (I heard him say as much
as four in "integral naked talk")...and to make a long story
short, it was because of the time scaling which he did not
include in his integral model.
I pointed out that
time-scaling-->the time in which something can happen is a
crtiical element of development, and then later I came to know
more about what Jaques did in his time studies, which helped
validate the ideas I had about time and scale.
I pointed out that complexification
of the e5 occurs at different iterative slopes and that
geological time, which is the time that genetic overhauls
occur prevent us from shifting our epigentic core vertically,
much...and of course the side bar, the huge shift in
consciousness is not in the cards, but what is...is legacy
scaffolding, if you can follow all the streams I'm weaving
together here.
We are at a geological shift in
time, one in which, all we have done has created all we are
and one thing the geological people don't get is that
geological time while being mapped linearly, has gone through
a phase shift...and yes, it was brought about by the emergence
of man.
What is occurring now, is that the
design and
scaffolding that is in place is a remnant of
legacy of man...and what is going to happen is the gravesian
momentous leap, but not in the form he predicted per se, but
in the leap in the acceleration of time, literally, but mostly
figuratively, as we are going to see (I am predicting) new
ways of understanding the universe and while I'm no einstein,
I have imagined that what is occurring is a shift in time
scaling...and how to explain what is occurring.
I will have to do this in another
TPOV, as it's related to a very complex notion of how things
become more complex over time, and in time<--the compression
of time.
