TPOVs @F-L-O-W: Don't solve that problem!
I didn't read this but it triggered something @F...so
thanks very much for sending! There may be more benefit in
reading the fast company link than my prose, but here goes
anyway;)
Whenever I see someone problem solving...I always trigger
the question...why is it (problem) happening now?
Instead of retraining (which, IMHO "accepts" that the
problem is real and not a design flaw)...
I prefer to make the problem/issue disappear.
Now, I am not "that" naive to think that we can design
away everything, but I'll bet you a dime to a donut that
poor design and "getting" into the design conversations
are levels of verticality that most don't realize are
available to strip off more complex algorithms and gain
oblique advantages.
This "whole" notion of skills development is what "most"
adult developmental theories "running" @BS will
champion...and I've become more open to it also as skills
"can" be taught like this (think why do I have this
problem vs. accepting that I should find ways to solve
it)...
Problem solvers are like maslovian hammer throwers...they
love to solve problems...
I've become more like a magician...and I'm looking for
ways to make these things disappear!
